I’ve never had such a horrible experience at a hotel in my life. The front desk staff, particularly a Japanese man, was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I checked in, he demanded payment for the room even though I had already paid through the app. When I asked why, he simply said, “I don’t know,” and walked away.
During check-out, I asked about my deposit, and again he said “No” and turned away, laughing and speaking in Japanese with his colleagues. It felt very disrespectful and dismissive. Every time I asked a question or needed help, including when we reported the air conditioning wasn’t working (the room was extremely hot), his only answer was “I don’t know.”
This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I felt ignored, disrespected, and frustrated throughout my entire stay.
